I did it - MBA
School has been a wonderful journey, one filled with enlightenment, discovery, challenges, and a dash of self-actualization on top. Eight years ago before starting this trek, there was a lot of doubt, confusion, and general fear about what was needed to get this far. Coming from a family background without any formal post-secondary education, I quickly learned that the tool of inquiry was my only means to making it. Asking questions, taking notes, getting advice - abhorring complacency.
Here I stand, at the precipice of a new peak in my life, while below stretches that difficult winding trail. At times like these one wants to enjoy the moment with friends and family, for selfish reasons mostly. Like any objectivist desiring to be desired for ones accomplishments, for creating value. I’ll enjoy my accomplishment, without shame, but with the knowledge that the illusion of discovery is my ignorance.
“The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance, but the illusion of knowledge” — Daniel J. Boorstin
