doko and dochira, nan and nani
Today was busy, I participated in a pretty high priority meeting that may open some very big doors for Innovative Language Learning (the relatively young startup I work at). This may be an opportunity to open new markets and find enterprise customers. Fun stuff.
Other than work, I ate some interesting soup today that Ayako fixed. It was yellow, and thick like a paste… and smelled like corn - well, actually it was corn… corn soup/paste ^=^
どこ と どちら are both used for asking where or which. dochira is more polite (well, that is what minna no nihongo said, but Ayako said not really)
なん と なに are both used for asking what, nan is used when it precedes a word where the first mora is in the ta/da/na row. Notice row is important (not just those 3). It also says to use nan when it is followed by a counter suffix… whatever that is. Use nani in all 0ther cases.
わたしは つかれた です。おやすみなさい。
