Watching the Watchmen? Trekking the Stars?…
Some of my friends got to see the Watchmen movie in the States. It wont show up here for quite some time. I wonder their take on it? Good / bad? I never read the comic book - just dont have time for it.

I also wont get to see the new Star Trek movie when it comes out, unless I am in the States at that time (i wonder if it will even make it to Japan?). This trailer is not as exciting as the last one to me (last one below).

There is one rare occurrence though - I could go see the Dragonball Evolution movie this week - almost a month before it opens in the States. This might allow me to brag to my friend B - but I wonder if he is even excited about that movie? Alas, I never watched the anime, and really don’t know enough about it to be excited. But they are playing a lot of commercials here…

Watched the Watchmen. It was good. Although, I’d have to wonder if Dr. Manhattan was a plumber, as opposed to a physicist, due to the amount of pipe he was swinging throughout that movie. This was compounded by the fact that I watched at the IMAX. My wife went with me, so its certainly difficult to compete with that. Though she said she only “saw it once”. Yeah, right.
Anyways, it was an excellent movie, from the point of view of someone who respects the work, though I’ve never actually read it either.

it definitely looks good in the previews.. ive seen several high reviews. but rottentomatoes.com is not completely flattering.
i bet IMAX experience was great for this one - just like for 300!

Last IMAX movie I saw was 300, with you of course. So I find it kind of funny that it was Directed by the same guys.

Yes he is interested in the movie. But it is not getting alot of tv time in the states.

it looks interesting - im sure it will hit the States soon - let me know how it is
