Zeitgiest Addendum - my thoughts
This is completely unrelated to most of the subjects on my blog, but I wanted to share my thoughts on Zeitgiest Addendum
I emplore everyone to explore this idea more, and carefully examine their premises. In the first 10 minutes of this video I was aghast at the fallacies in their arguments. (Not to mention they called “competitiveness” a disgusting/horrible trait of mankind…. I completely disagree here)
I continued watching the rest of this video for educational purposes, but with a cautious reserve.
I also investigated the Venus Project that is the primary supporter of this video.

Wow… Although it is a work of fiction - it should be required reading - Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged. Watch out for people who say that profit motive is not good for any field or practice.
The profit motive shouldn’t be considered evil, corrupt, or unproductive - and should not be blamed for poverty. On the contrary - more technological breakthroughs have been created from the desire for profit then anything else.
