Unfortunately A few bad monkey's in the barrel spoil it for all the monkey's. You are right though, you need to just go somewhere else because you don't need to give them your money. That's their lose and your gain. So keep looking and I am sure you and Ayako will find a good apartment. One that doesn't discriminate. Discrimination that’s sad but a fact of life in all countries.
