The 7/11 is now selling one of my favorite sushi rolls again, well almost. This one is very close to to my favorite - except it doesn’t have any tuna.
New apartments next to our current apartment viewing from the front side. They’ve finally opened up, right when we are about to leave. A comparable apartment here would cost us about $2,000 a month - way too much for us.
However these new apartments are really close to the QQ store I frequent so often =)
In fact I stopped by there after taking these pictures to pick up some chips. And to my surprise the 99 shop added 2 new “Ame” brand chips to their offering. I picked up some sour-cream and onion…. wow, i hadn’t realized how much I missed sour cream and onion chips~!!
Funny story about the last time I visited Japan. I stopped by this same QQ last summer to buy some chips - and grabbed a bag of sour cream and onion chips and an egg-salad sandwich. Got back to the apartment and threw a handful of chips in my mouth - only to be greeted by the unexpected taste of seaweed. I had in fact been duped into thinking the white chips with green specs were sour cream and onion - when they were in fact salt and seaweed (i was not too happy). This time I could read the bag, and I was sure of no trickery
