First 100 days
So 100 days have passed since I left the States.
In fact, my first 100 days in Japan occurred in parallel with Barack Obama’s first 100 days as President of the United States. I still remember the early morning wait in the airport lounge, sitting there in that anxious silence waiting to start this new journey. The distant tv monitor was lively with views of pre-celebration for what was then the new President’s inauguration day. Those people hurried about in hopeful streams, while I sat in wonder what was in store for me on the other side of the world.
It seemed like a pseudo event in my life, something that I wasn’t quite sure how to prepare for. But here I am, 101 days later still posting my experiences regularly. Just like the media captured reports of Obama’s daily ventures, so too have I broad casted regularly the new things in my life.
To mark such a celebration - tomorrow I will post not just pictures, but also a couple videos that I want to share with everyone. Please look for them soon.

At least your not getting criticized like Obama is. And you don’t have someone watching every move you make, just waiting for you to mess up. LOL

Good to see your still enjoying the finest things in life, experiences of a different culture that not may get to enjoy being in for extended periods of time.

When opportunity knocks I highly suggest that everyone take that leap and travel somewhere remote. May be a positive influence on ones outlook.
You are right, I am lucky to experience many of the things I do, and thankful for it.
