And as for the mystery... It could be a door buzzer to let someone in downstairs. Intercom was a nice idea, but the speaker grill looks too small. the open door makes me think thermostat. red and green buttons make me think security alarm. Arm and disarm, but one would think there\'d be a keypad or something so the intruder can\'t just deactivate it himself. Yeah, i think I agree with Jenn. Thermostat device. but then why 841? Is it in kelvin? 841 kelvin = 1 054.13 degrees Fahrenheit. 84.1 degrees Celsius = 183.38 degrees Fahrenheit. Surely it\'s not 84.1 degrees F in your apartment. That\'s sweltering. BUT! It would be good for hot water. No... no it wouldn\'t. baths need to be higher than that. This is drivin me crazy!!!!
