Humidity and Falafel
The humidity in Japan is really shooting through the roof. I think it is cooler here than in Alabama / Tennessee - but much more humid.
My commute to work goes like this: a walk to the station during which I am instantly sweating, cool ride via train for 40 minutes, transfer by walking to another train and again sweaty from outside air, cool ride for another 10 minutes, then a final sweaty walk to the office.
3 layers of sweat, sounds nice right?
For lunch today I ate falafel with some coworkers at this place called “Pita the Great”. Nice name, good food, and surprisingly nice cool breeze as we sat outside.
Was going to post something extra - but couldnt get my iphone to mail a photo using my wireless network. Perphaps I can get it to work later.
While you wait, check out Pita the Great.
Listening to my daily round of podcasts I had to replay this little clip a few times. Dave Ramsey had a couple calls on his show - one in which a woman blamed her debt situation on the economy and even “the price of corn is getting too high”. Another guy had bought a $450k house in hopes of selling it for big money, catch was his income was only 50k a year and had no savings!
Dave went on a rant after a break and had some good teachings all throughout his comments. What you sow is what you reap.
