hitsuyou and shitai
= need and want, good words to know and somehow they have not been a part of my Japanese vocabulary up until this point! Very strange since “necesito” was one of the first Spanish words I learned.
Kinyoubi is almost passed, but here is my picture post:

Kanji inscribed into a stone marker at a shrine.

This is a parking area for a nearby apartment. Japan has some really interesting parking buildings and devices, but almost seems like some of these things would make owning a car even more of a hassle.

This was my lunch about a year ago, I found this photo still on my unused iPhone. What a nice looking burger - they just aren’t made like that over here ![]()

OH! And, you know… I miss you and Ayako too! I mean… well, yeah. Now I’m all nostalgic.

was a fine rice cooker indeed - in my mother’s possession now…
for some reason when you mentioned the rice cooker i recalled a sushi party at your other apartment, now that was a cool party

Hehehe, the word in Spanish is “necesito” one S instead of two
And omg that burger looks HUGE! I bet it was good! Hope you and Ayako are doing great Charles! Take care
