Her parents live about 3 hours away, not too far, but far enough that we can't go there any time we please. Obon holidays are generally family get-together days, so it would be strange if she did not see her family this week. I enjoy personal time, so does Ayako - it doesn't bother me. Nope, don't miss the single life :D :)
