Picture Post Getsuyoubi
Ok, since Friday’s post was more of a normal post, it’s only fair I post some pictures today. Here is a random sampling of things I see in the subway stations around Tokyo:

Funny advertisement on one of the trains. Suppanda = suppai panda = “sour” panda. Cute.

Empty area of a train station I sometimes frequent on the way to work. After going through Shinjuku station (the busiest station in Tokyo, probably the world) every morning for 5 months - seeing an empty area of a station is quite refreshing.

Poster for a Yosakoi festival in Tokyo this month. I’ve never been to a Yosakoi festival, but it definitely looks fun. I’ll post a link to a cool video this week so you can see… but Yosakoi is a dance festival, and highly popular among the younger crowd.

Here is a second poster for the same festival.

Nice pictures! I bet that station gets really really crowded…but to me, it looks cool on that pic
What is that advertisement with the panda btw? What is it promoting? (I hope that’s the right expression in English
“promoting”)
