Ito Family Trip
Here is another glimpse into past events I experienced in Japan. With Ayako’s family I visited several interesting areas around central and north Japan.

Here we are at Tanabata festival in Maebashi. This is a very popular summer festival with food, games, decorations, and lots of people in yukatas. It was very colorful and exciting - lots to see and definitely exhausting to walk around it all in the hot day.

Here we are exhausted after a trip around the Tanabata festival

Here we are with our ninja bodyguards. In Japan everyone has their own ninja bodyguards for protection, the thing is you never see them unless the father of the family asks them to pose for photos…. otherwise they would be horrible ninjas.
We were at Old Edo Village - a small amusement park that is a recreation of life in Japan pre-meiji era.

And here we are returning to Maebashi after another trip. The mountain scenery was beautiful and we had a spot to take a photo together.

selective photography - you only see the fun times… you don’t see photos of us working everyday haha

You get to be with the person you love everyday so even though you have to work, there are many many positive things about you being there!
New place, new language, new culture, new people, new place, new customs, new everything, lots of travelling and spending time with your lovely wife. That sounds good enough to me!!
It’s a life experience…I’ll tell you that!!
