And Universe aligns just right again
Ok, so within a week from posting my declaration that certain foodstuffs were hard to find - and I have yet another update. Wednesday after traveling to the office I decided to checkout another store that someone told me about a while ago.
In akasaka-mitsuke there is a small store that sells mostly spirits (alcohol), but it also has a couple isles of foodstuffs - mostly international. After lunch I perused the shelves, and for the most part found nothing of excitement… until…
I found a small stash of A&W Root Beer and Cream Soda in cans. They had about 6 of each on the shelf, 100yen a piece. Elated, ecstatic, surprised, dumbstruck - all of the above. In the big city of Tokyo there is indeed a small supply of Root Beer - and it was closer than I ever thought.
Maybe next time I’ll post how hard it is to find a million dollars, see how quickly that will appear
