Renewed through food

So today I was feeling pretty drained mentally, although the sun was shining and the weather was nice I was feeling rather blah. For lunch I decided to go somewhere instead of eating cup-noodles like I normally do (they are cheap and rather tasty).

So I walked down the street until I came across Yoshinoya - a Japanese fast-food restaurant specializing in the most delicious basic meals. Gyudon is their specialty and I love it. Gyudon is a bowl of white rice with thin strips of cooked beef and onions in a tasty sauce. I ate to my hearts content and felt slightly better.

For dinner Ayako and I went to the mall here and first did a quick bit of shopping - then we found a new place we had never seen before. It was a steak restaurant, American size steak! I ate a really tasty steak with mashed potatoes (definitely miss mashed potatoes). So now I am fully recharged :)

I forgot to take photos for picture post kinyoubi (I know you all are really disappointed). So instead I’m going to share a video that has been stuck in my playlist since Jacob sent me the link last month. This video is really cool, and even crazier is that it went from just a few thousand views last month to over a million!

I’m glad to hear it wasn’t the windows 7 steak. 7 Steaks stacked on top of each other served on a 4 paned glass plate, slathered in recently reheated old white gravy, with a side of antibiotics (to ward of viruses of course), and served with Coffee to keep you from slowing down after eating it.

also with cliche statement: * this thead is useless without pics.

Though admittedly it is funny how your mind links Carl Sagan to steak. He does look like he is about to eat a hearty meal.

mmmmmm windows 7 steak, with free antivirus, making me hungry already

Carl Sagan can be connected to anything, I mean it’s quite logical to make the connection once you realize we are made of star dust, and that the apple pie in his video and the steak on my plate is also made of star dust and there is a wormhole that may cause you to end… ok, i give up. No clue how I connected them
