Yesterday a National Holiday

Yesterday was a national holiday in Japan known as Culture Day (bunka no hi). I worked much like a normal day except I took an extended lunch to go to the mall with Ayako.

The mall was packed with people shopping. I’ve never seen so many shoppers at that mall before, so it made me feel as if I were among Christmas shoppers back in the States. However, something wasn’t the same… perhaps it was the thought that these people were probably not shopping for the holiday. Not that it makes much of a difference.

I was hoping to find a good movie at the theater but nothing caught my eye. Most movies take some time before they make their way here.

This is perhaps the shortest post I’ve made in quite some time. I’ll definitely share some nice photos on Friday.

Hehe :) I had been stopping by sometimes but I had been so busy with school that I had no time to sit down and read everything (and make sure I actually understand everything) sooo it’s nice to catch up with all your stories :) Say hi to Ayako for me!! :) Good to hear from you guys, as usual :)
