Two tasty dishes
Last week I took this photo and forgot to show it. So, feast your eyes on this bowl of seafood-curry udon.
Udon is wheat noodle, and this particular bowl is in a Japanese curry based soup with seafood (shrimp, squid, fish) and vegetables (potato, carrot, onion). Very tasty.

And here is another photo that I forgot to show last week (way to go Charles). This was a snack I ate at the culture fair hosted at the University nearby. This is okonomiyaki on a stick. The guy said it was a style from south Japan. I think I prefer the normal kind

Today is a holiday known as respect for the elderly day, and this weekend I spent time with Ayako and her family. We visited the most awesome Himeji castle, so I’ll post photos I took there this week.
