New Years in Japan is like Thanksgiving

So this week is pretty important for families in Japan. Much like Thanksgiving is a time for distant family members to meet and eat dinner together in the US, New Years in Japan is filled with family events.

Here in Maebashi, in the prefecture of Gumma, we are visiting with uncles, aunts, cousins etc. Lots of names to practice for me…

As for Christmas… we watched Avatar. It was a decent movie, entertaining, with great computer graphics (go for the graphics, not the story). We also ate KFC for dinner, look at those rather strange biscuits (look like donuts):

On a totally unrelated note, you up for a little homework assignment, Charles?? >_<

I have seen these guys in many many videos on the internetz, but only stumble upon the group unintentionally. I really want to be able to search for their videos, but I have no idea WHO they are! Here are some of their videos -

Game show (they are the red team) -

    Silent Library (minus Shaq) -

    Silent Library 2 -

Are they a comedy team or a game show team? I’d really like to have a searchable name to find more videos and maybe some history on the group. I find everything they do to be absolutely hilarious!

    Thanks buddy!
