Burger Post Kinyoubi
Ok, so I did it. Well, I partially did it. I mustered the courage to tackle the Tower Cheese Burger (mentioned in a previous post).
Ayako and I did a little shopping this past week, then we stopped by a small place called The Submarine in Shinjuku. The restaurant / bar was mostly empty, probably because the food was nothing to talk about. After a couple drinks and enough food to satisfy our empty stomachs, we decided to head home.
But first, I demanded a detour to the local Lotteria burger place to check out the Tower Cheese Burger. Since I had just finished eating, I couldn’t possibly tackle the 10 patty monster. Instead, I decided to perform my investigative reporting with a smaller specimen.
Thus enter the 六段 “loku dan,” or 6 patty cheese burger.
I suggest only feasting your eyes on those images. Don’t give in to temptation. Do not try this yourself. That was the greasiest burger I have ever eaten, I’m sure it took a few years off my digestive system.
